The CEO of Nissan Automotive, Carlos Ghosn, said that his company is developing the next generation of lighter and smaller car batteries. Although Nissan has fallen behind in production of hybrid vehicles compared to Toyota and Honda, they recently opened a new tech center in Japan that is dedicated to developing environmental friendly automobiles. Nissan is also working on other technologies besides batteries.

Now this is a good idea; a reputable car company making environmentally friendlier cars. Although they may not be electric cars, at least people know that they will last, unlike Zap's cars.
